Neff Press Custom Applications
Part Quality Assurance
This system will allow selection of a distance window in which the
assembly force will be monitored. A good part or bad part output
will be displayed on the operator interface. If a press cycle does
not fall into the parameters stored in the controller, the operator
will have to acknowledge this before starting a new cycle. READ

Our Mission: Neff's customer required a press that would apply 400
degrees of heat and uniform pressure over a part with a large surface.
Complicated by the requirement that the heated surfaces needed to
move in order to preheat and to achieve required productivity, this
was accomplished by integrating an index unit and robotic pick and
place units with a Neff press. Providing the motion to the heated
platens was difficult. A further complication was an extremely short
cycle time requirement. READ MORE...
Our Mission : To provide several presses to stake studs into automotive
brake drums. The application was complicated because of different
diameter rotors with varying numbers of studs. A single press will
be tasked to stake studs into two different diameter drums, each
requiring a different number of studs. READ

Our Mission: Our customer, located in New England came to Neff
for 2 column presses, each being 150 tons and having bed dimension
of 30 (L-R) x 30 (F-B) in between the pins. This customer
required the heated platens have a heat up and cool down time of
ten minutes, with maximum temperature being 450° F. READ

Our Mission: Neff recently designed
and manufactured a third computerized shaft straightening press
for a St. Louis based company in order to eliminate costly manual
straightening of casehardened compressor shafts. The shafts are
of various diameters and lengths. READ

Explosion-Proof
Our Mission : A long time Neff customer contacted us to duplicate
a press we manufactured for them several years ago. The customer,
a major automotive airbag manufacturer, required an explosion proof
press. During the manufacturing process, the customer uses a highly
explosive powder, which acts as the initiator in airbag deployment.
Safeguarding the press from these volatile agents is imperative
for overall process control. READ
